This mini eLearning module provides an overview of the typical product range that is currently available for children and adults and also points to some of the considerations to be aware of when choosing assistive technology for learning or work.

The BDA Level 5 Certificate in Dyscalculia and Maths Learning Difficulties; Support and Intervention provides training for individuals who have a professional interest in dyscalculia and maths learning difficulties in order for them to become informed practitioners and teachers. The course is delivered primarily in the form of eLearning, with some supplementary virtual sessions. The course is flexible and can be undertaken part time.

SASC - Assessing for Dyscalculia-Good Practice in Testing (Live Virtual Training)

This virtual course will consider the current definition of dyscalculia and how this marries with the SASC guidance for pre and post-16 age groups. Assessment tools will be considered in light of current advice and their appropriateness for the age of the assessee. This will include a review of the statistical data obtained from testing and how these should be reported in a diagnostic assessment report (DAR)which adheres to APC criteria.
