Developing an awareness of assistive technology can be a vital piece of the support package provided to an individual, as many of assistive technology products can help dramatically improve an individual鈥檚 independence and performance within a learning or work environment. Assistive technology also provides an opportunity to help break down the barriers to successfully gaining, maintaining and succeeding in employment for those with dyslexia.
