Who is it suitable for?
This course is suitable for those working in education or training who are considering, or already undertaking, screening activities. It may also be useful for parents looking to understand, in more detail, the processes involved when looking for the signs of dyslexia.
This session can be used towards the completion of our accredited
courses, so is a great for anyone wishing to go on to one of our

Learning objectives
- Identify, explore and discuss the processes and documentation associated with best practice in screening for dyslexia
- Explore the possibilities of false positives and false negatives
- Understand the principles upon which screening tools are designed
- Critically evaluate a range of dyslexia screening tools
- Analyse the results of a selection of dyslexia screening tools
Joining Instructions
Joining instructions will be sent to the registered email address approximately 24hrs ahead of the training event. If the events start date falls on a Monday, these details will be sent out on the preceding Friday.
Please note joining instrutions will only be sent if payment has been received. If paying by invoice this should be paid within 30 days or 3 working days prior to the event date, whichever is soonest.
